As shown in this photo, taken from one of our vineyards, the Villino del Grillo farmhouse is immersed in the countryside of San Gimignano, among the olive groves and vineyards of Chianti in Tuscany .

These photos were taken from the entrance door of the Villino and depict the sunset that gives fabulous colors to one of our Sangiovese vineyards.

Our small family-run company produces Chianti grapes (Sangiovese) and Vernaccia di San Gimignano, a type of grape that gives life to a white wine, produced only in the municipal area of San Gimignano. Known and appreciated throughout the world, it is controlled and guaranteed by the Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin (DOCG) label and was the first Italian wine to receive the Denomination of Controlled Origin (DOC) in 1966 and in 1993 it had the DOCG

Our main activities are the olive harvest between October and November and the harvest in September, activities that remain tied to ancient traditions, handed down from one generation to another and that often become beautiful experiences for our guests

The Villino del Grillo and its 4-hectare estate are surrounded by the beautiful countryside of the hills of San Gimignano, with its characteristic cypress-lined avenues, where you can take relaxing walks, during which you can fully enjoy the tranquility of a still unspoiled nature and far from the confusion and stress of the city

On the back of the Villino del Grillo extends an olive grove of about 130 plants, where our guests can walk peacefully in complete freedom and where you can observe the ancient medieval historic center of San Gimignano .

Surely the Villino del Grillo is the ideal place for those who want to spend a vacation in absolute rest and tranquility in close contact with nature and appreciate all that it can give .
